The room was spacious but the bed very uncomfortable and the room not very clean. The location is good, however, it was very noisy at night and difficult to sleep. For those with a disability like I have it was difficult from having to take my suitcase up the small staircase in the foyer as the concierge had had surgery and couldn't assist to having to open the lift door myself as it's a manual lift.

Got there on Saturday at about 11am the place was very quiet. However, come the evening the two pubs across the road seemed to be in competition with each other in the noisey music department. This lasted until about 8am the next day.

Just as well I can sleep in a saw mill.

After that it stayed reasonably quiet for the rest of the week. Not too bad for a street facing room in a lively part of town.

Rooms were cleaned daily with towels and all tea and coffee stocks replenished.
