A new 15 level tower apartment complex has been added to the original historic Astor building. Local attractions include the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, Australian Woolshed, Southbank parklands, City Botanic Gardens and several others.

Getting there / transfers

AIRTRAIN - A free one way ticket is available to all Astor Metropole guests! Simply present your confirmation document to the friendly staff at the Airtrain Kiosk at either the domestic or international terminal and they will give you your one-way ticket from the airport to central station. This is a great way to get to the Hotel if you don't have too much luggage. Return Airtrain tickets are available from the Hotel front desk ($12 each). Taxi - $32 from the airport to Hotel. We are located just one block from Central Station and Queen Street Mall is just 3 blocks (downhill!). We are short 10min walk to Brisbane's Treasury Casino & 15 to South Bank Parklands.
