Mount Cotton is a quiet suburb located southeast of Brisbane’s CBD. The Mount Cotton Village Community Park features a vast expanse of open green space and a small lake. Other parks nearby include the Bushland Refuge and the Sandy Creek Conservation Area. There is camping in the area and fishing in the region’s many rivers and creeks.
