A relatively cheap hotel run by friendly and helpful staff, and with clean rooms.

The location was fantastic, ten minutes walk from South Bank and the South Brisbane train station.

Convenient location

I stayed in Sapphire for 9 days in last month.

Location is excellent, just 2 mins walk to the nearest Coles Supermarket, lot more restaurants further down the street. Walking distance to river bank and if you are willing to walk further then you will reach city center within half an hour. In facility secure parking lots were provided to protect your hired car.

In room airconditioner is window type, so it is noisy ! the bad thing is its position, cool air will blow directly to your head while you sleep on the bed ! I needed to sleep on the other end of the bed to prevent headache.

There is no ventilation fan in bath room, you need to open the slide window there to keep good ventilation, but the window is just less than 6 ft in height so any tall guy walks through the corrider can actually see your bath room through the window.

The food quality in the attached Adam restaurant is good but a bit pricely, it serves Asian foods includes Chinese, Malay and Thai, not a bad choice if you don't want to go too far to find restaurant.
