3 day stay

Jan 2010 - Anonymous, Brisbane

A bit of a disappointing stay. Meals: We asked about kids meals at reception and we were told that kids 4 & under eat free. This was great until we actually went to breakfast and were asked to pay (the restaurant didn't acknowledge that kids 4 & under eat free, as per their rules). One night we ordered a meal and it took about 2 hrs for a pizza, kids spaghettit, bowl of chips, and some bread and dips. There didn't seem to be any reason for this level of delay. The kids menu is not openly advertised. We had to ask about one!!

Room: The room didn't have an alarm clock!?! Minibar contents were non-existent (which didn't bother us but the room brochure said it was 'fully' stocked). Small things but.....

Well it is quite obvious that you get what your pay for. My family and I found that the location of the room was like being in the dungeon. It was so far away from anything. The room itself wasn't too bad I suppose. We found that the Bar Fridge was very expensive. I mean who it there right mind would pay $4.25 for a teabag.
Then we have the restaurant we had dinner at on Saturday night. We only ordered 3 Caesar Salads and had to wait for over an hour for them to be served to us. and they were tasteless. I believe that there were alot of functions on at the Resort that night and it showed by the way the kitcnen was so far behind in the orders.
So overal I would rate our stay as about a 3 and no we will not be visiting again.
