Two Points Of View

Firstly I was impressed the first time I stayed at the Best Western Abel Tasman. The room was large and refreshing, good options with the television and an all around great experience.

The second time around - I had booked a two night stay, which was exactly a week after my first visit. Arrived approximately at midnight and unfortunately the room I was assigned was next to the Laundry, so expecting a sleep in for a late arrival, I did not get. The room was smaller and it wasn't as pleasant as the first visit.

So first time was great and second time was not so great - thus my mixed feedback.

Courtesy Issues

Reception staff quite abrupt as I was greeted with "you're early and your room is not ready" .

I do not mind waiting for my room to be ready but I would prefer to be told politely. Then the lady said "credit card" and I asked why and was told just to make sure everything is paid for.

I understand that but still no polite thank you or please was given. I have stayed there before but I will not stay there again.
