Getting there / transfers

The Tamar Valley Resort is perfectly positioned approximately 10 minutes drive North of the Launceston CBD in the heart of the exotic Tamar Valley wine region. If you are arriving from the Launceston Airport, follow the signs to the City of Launceston. Do not take any turns just stay on the main highway into the City from the Airport. When in the Launceston CBD take the (A7) West Tamar Highway by turning left at the York Street intersection. The Tamar Valley Resort is then approximately 10 minutes drive North of the Launceston CBD via the West Tamar (A7) Highway. Just look for the signs to the suburb of "Grindelwald". As you approach the 2nd round about which is approx 10 minutes drive from the CBD, the Woolworths Legana shopping centre is located on your right. Travel ahead through the round about for approx 1km, then turn left into Atkinson Road & travel 2 minutes up the rolling enchanting hills to discover the very special Tamar Valley Resort.
