  • Cup Perfect

As a handy destination to all the fun of the cup week the Promenade at Crown was the best place to stay. All the new bars were open and there was lots happening. Not only could we eat and have a drink at the bar, we were close enough to walk to South Wharf and Bourke Street to shop. Fantastic location!! Will be back again this time next year!!

  • Relax Package

We had a very pleasurable stay and was pleasantly surprised with chocolate coated strawberries about an hour after arrival!

  • Excellent stay

The only thing that beat the location and the quality and views of our room was the excellent service we were given by the staff. It was a wonderful experience and I have no hesitation in recommending the Crown promenade Hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay. My wife and I look forward to returning as soon as possible.

  • Crown Promenade

Rooms were very clean, roomy and everything worked. Staff were always helpful and it's great to be just a short stroll from Southbank and the CBD. Would happily stay here again.

There are numerous temporary exhibits throughout the year and a centre dedicated exclusively to Australian art.

  • Shrine of Remembrance

Victoria’s largest and most visited war memorial is Melbourne’s most recognised landmark. Built to honour those who served and died during World War I, the Shrine was begun in 1928 and completed in 1934. The monument’s grand design was inspired by the tomb at Halicarnassus, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Several other monuments and war memorials have been added to the site.

  • South Melbourne Market

If you can manage to navigate the labyrinth that is the South Melbourne Market, you are likely to be rewarded with a hidden treasure from one of the market’s hundreds of vendors.
