Cannot fault it

I tried to find something to moan about with this hotel, but I cannot.

The staff were extremely helpful, polite and cheerful 24/7. The rooms were ample enough for my stay (7 nights), although some may feel they are on the small side. My opinion is that i didnt intent to do much other than SLEEP so it was more than perfect for me. The location is ideal for all sightseeing locations etc, to get to on foot. Otherwise, there were choices of tram,train or taxi to get you elsewhere, for a cheap cost.

My experience of Melbourne (especially considering i'm a 40+ woman travelling on my own for the first time) was one of feeling safe, informed and relaxed. I credit the Pensione Hotel for most of that. I would DEFINATELY stay here again, and strongly reecommend it to anyone.

MANY thanks to the staff there and to cheaperthanhotels for making my holiday worry-free and affordable.

absolutely waste of money for me and two teenage children, we were squashed into a room so small it wasnot funny. The bar was never open and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone with children

As far as value for money goes this hotel is great, the only drawback is that the bathroom is way too small and you cant open any windows when the weather is good.
