excellent location and spacious

We flew to Melbourne with two young children which was the reason why we chose family accomodation in a serviced apartment for our stay. We spent 11 nights in Melbourne visiting relatives. The location is sensational.

It's right next door to the Central Melbourne Post Office GPO , Myers store , and other major shops. Also it's very near to Bourke St, around 10 minutes stroll to China Town where you can get some great food to eat out at .

Reception staff are friendly, efficient and helpful with any questions about getting around.

We had a 1 bed-room apartment, which had plenty of space. Each day the apartment was well cleaned,before we returned.

There was pay TV which was reasonably priced to keep the whole family occupied in teh evenings .

I would highly recommend this to visitors with families or business people wanting some home away from home space and comfort at a good price.

Somerset Hotel is totally central to Melbourne, has good access to everything a person could want. e.g. cinemas, shopping, restaurants

There isn't a restaurant but then again there are so many to choose from in the area its not a problem.

The room was great, large with a self contained Kitchenette, living room area.

View wasn't good but as expected in the middle of a city.

Staff were very helpful and had good local knowledge which helped me in my shopping

Would stay there next time and every time after
