Swan Bells

Barrack Square, Riverside Drive, Perth, 6000, Australia

Swan Bells is located in Perth, Australia and is considered amongst the city’s main attraction , with visitors from all over Australia and other countries.

One of Perth's big tourist pulls is the Swan Bell Tower located on the Barrack Street Jetty. The Tower stands 82.5 metres high and was completed in 2001. The glass spire of the tower is one of the city's major landmarks but the main attraction is the bells within.

Twelve of the bells are from London's august church of St Martin in the Fields which fronts Trafalgar Square. The bells have great historical association having been rung to welcome the return of Captain James Cook from his 1771 voyage of discovery, and at the coronation of British monarchs since 1727.

The top of the bell tower's six floors features an observation deck for views over the river and city.

The Swan Bells are rung on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday between 12:30pm and 2pm.
