We had great views over the city from a refurbished room. Very happy and good value as we picked up a special here.
Found reception staff quite unhelpfull. No Mini Bar in room, double bed was two singles pulled together. Although complimentry bottle of wine on arrival Cleanliness was good.
Our air conditioner was ticking, we were apparently "upgraded" to a room without being notified and then told that because of the "upgrade" we had no mini bar. The King bed is two singles pulled together, when we called reception or room service, 80% of the time no one picked up the phone and the room service phone attendent was quite rude. We will not be staying there again

Located in the middle of Sydney’s CBD and not far from St. Mary’s Cathedral, Cook and Phillip Park Aquatic and Fitness Centre is an excellent exercise facility. There is a fantastic pool that has been awarded five stars by the Royal Life Saving Society Australia, a group fitness room, an indoor sports stadium, a spin studio, a wave pool, a cafe, onsite parking and more.
Built in 1839 for Colonial Secretary Alexander Macleay, the Elizabeth Bay House is a chic, neoclassical estate designed by architect John Verge. It was—and still is—one of the finest homes in the county. Macleay was quite a plant collector, and the home’s grounds still feature many of his favourite plants. If you can look past the ugly modern apartments that surround the house, you’ll be rewarded by the gorgeous oval salon and grand staircase.
As the closest public course to the CBD, Moore Park is one of the most popular courses in Australia. You can practice your swing at the 60 bay, all-weather driving range, relax over lunch or cocktails in the historic clubhouse, shop for new gear in the pro shop, work on your short game on the practice greens, take a private lesson, or host your next special event in one of the course’s function rooms.
