Cheap , dirty but good value

Overall good value for money as the location is so great. Only 15 mins to Manly Wharf and the Manly Ferry to Circular Quay , plus 1 minute to the beach.

The place lacks hygene , so be prepared to get new linen and have a spray for insect repellant on your body. It's cheap accommodation , at the bottom of the hostel quality ladder , but it does have some good features overall ie location

Smells and dirty...a night from hell

Place absolutely stunk, kitchen was dirty, rooms smelt even worse than living area!

Managment were rude and unhelpful. Refrigerator in room and had leaked all over the floor on arrival.

Whilst sleeping there there was pubic hairs all over the bed, we recieved bites all over our backs and legs, and noise was heard throughout the night from the petrol station and other members being noisy.

Only good point was that it was at a great location.

Definately not suitable for families with children, as we discovered, and we ended up leaving after one night!

Quiet and convenient hostel

Superb location - only 15min from the Manly ferry wharf and Corso and 50 meters to the beach... a quiet hostel - no parties - so was ideal for us gals.
