Clean and comfy
Oct 2009 - Gary, Warrnambool
Overall, a pretty nice hotel.
Pros:
Kept nice and clean, beds made up every day even without request.
Bed was large and comfy (better than home).
Pay TV.
Close to bus stop & train station, easy walk to city centre and a good walk to darling harbour or Circular Quay.
Staff pleasant and helpful- we checked in early with no problems, and on the day of check-out we were able to store our bags for a few ours for free.
The restaurant and bar is quite good.
Cons:
A bit noisy at times, although our room was non-major road side, so no major problems.
Seemed a little understaffed at the front desk during busy times.
Construction works on at the time of our stay but we weren't inconvenienced.
Pool would be really nice in summer, but isn't heated so couldn't really be used during our stay.
Shower in the room was a bit funny - no door (partial screen) so water went a bit over the bathroom floor.
Overall, was really good value, but I will preface that by saying I got an internet special for $100/night so was extra good value.

Overall alright
Oct 2009 - Catherine, melbourne
Stayed for 2 nights, price was pretty good comparing with the quality and its excellent location. Tidy clean. Seems they are quite understaffed always only got one staff at conceige and kind of need to handle checkin , phones, checkout and everything... we request an extra towel and we need to pick up at lobby =.= interior design of the room is pretty modern and innovative
Supplied with iron and hair dryer which was pretty good bed and pillows are clean n comfty
negatives:
goosh! the hotel seems like still under renovation, construction work started at 7.30 AM! we called to the reception to make a big complaint and the response was "it's passed the legal time" - what the hell. It was way too noisy to sleep and consider tourists are generally exhausted from all day tour or most of us are coming for relaxing!a fter two complaints still non stop the screwing and hammering.... two mornings the same. they should at least start at 10am, it's more make sense rather than commence the construction work at 7.30am!
generally speaking, since it next to the main road, quite noisy.
pool on the roof is not heated pool, hard to use ,too cold
sauna room is bit stingy and scary
we were being asked of the 'estimated arrival time' but it's nth to do about with the checkin time.we arrived at 9am and still need to wait til 2pm to check in so pointless to answer the 'estimate arrival time'
the ipod charger thingy not working

Amazing customer service
Oct 2009 - Tania, Canberra
We had a delay in checkin but the staff were extremely accomodating and did everything they could to make up for this and everything from there was amazing, all the staff went out of their way to make our stay great and the rooms themselves were awesome.
