  • Happy overall

Excellent location. clean rooms but a little dated. Location can be a little noisy at weekends with the nightclub crowd. Overall quite happy with my stay.

  • Noisy but cheap

These are tired old apartments in need of re decoration. Very basic but cheap and I was happy with the price, but not the noise. The noise is unbelievable from traffic and construction - hopefully this will be over soon.

  • Anzac Bridge

Built in 1996, Sydney’s other famous bridge spans Johnstons Bay between Pyrmont and Rozelle. At 345 metres it’s the longest cable bridge in Australia and offers spectacular city views coming in from the west. The bridge is a memorial to soldiers from Australia and New Zealand who served in WW1; the large flags and giant solider statues reinforce the theme.

  • Goat Island

Located just west of Sydney Harbour, Goat Island has a long and often dodgy past: It has been a shipyard, a quarantine station and a gunpowder depot. A number of different guided tours are offered, including a heritage tour, a picnic tour and an adults-only Gruesome Tales tour. Tours can be booked at Cadmans Cottage in The Rocks precinct, which is where the park’s offices are located.

  • Sailing Sydney

If you’re looking for a unique way to experience all the sights of Sydney Harbour, this is it. You can book a cruise aboard a real America’s Cup yacht, be part of the crew, man the helm, work the grinders or just relax and enjoy the ride. No prior sailing experience is required, group rates are available and a typical sail lasts about two and a half hours.
