Conference stay

I stayed here as part of small work conference for a couple of days, but was concerned having read some reviews after we booked.

But i was pleasantly surprised - the service was easy going and friendly. In a casual kind of way it was quite attentive.

The rooms were good for the price with I had an amazing view over Pittwater .

There's a large popular pub over the road called the Newport Arms and our group spent an evening there after dinner in the hotel which was of a very good standard.

Great views from restaurant

We put some friends and family in here for a wedding and many of our relatives staying here each summer holidays.

There's not much else around to compare with in the area and the hotel probably charges above it's value due to this. Most of the rooms look out onto the street or a block of units on the other side.

Breakfast and dinners were quite good and reasonably priced , but you can wander over the road to the Newport Arms Hotel which has a wide variety of good quality pub food if needed.

If location and convenience is important and you don't mind paying about $50 - 60 more than it's really worth then go for it. It's not really an issue for us.
