Arrived 10pm on a Sunday night and found the front desk staff to be very welcoming. Same for the checkout staff the next morning. The room was clean and quiet and excellent value at $99 (online special). The hotel is located adjacent to the Entertainment Centre at Darling Harbour which makes it easy to access the CBD. My only minor complaint would be that internet access via the TV in the room was not very successful. Overall an excellent stay and I will certainly use this hotel again.
Enjoyed stay. Staff very attentive. Location great for Chinatown restaurants. Only fault was map address on web site is incorrect. Address of Novotel Rockford is LITTLE PIER St. Made finding hotel very difficult because it shows on map to be in different location. ** 04 Mar 09 - Editors note - thanks , the map has been fixed , although the Google street view is not currently accurate.
