Bad experience

Feb 2010 - Brioney Clarke, Townsville

Paid for airconditioned room. Aircon worked for one night than broke, there were no windows or fan's in the room. The aircon was then repaired the next night however broke again the next day. The hotel had ran out of fans so the rooms became unbareable to stay in. At no stage were we offered anything more than a glass of water. When complained was told that there was nothing they could do. Highly Dissapointing would a meal voucher or discount have been too much?

Couldn't have done better anywhere in a major city the world for the price

Worked out only $8 more a night than a single room in Youth Hostel. (c. $80 per night for 10 nights through Cheaperthanhotels). Great location, nice hotel, clean, food good. Very happy although gym sometimes not open.
