    The location was excellent , close to the viaduct, Sky Tower , Queen Street, ferries, restaurants etc . Friendly and helpful service.

    Had to wait half an hour to be allowed to check in even though we booked in advance and showed up an hour after official check in. front desk were not at all friendly. Manager seemed helpful though. room was unimpressive and not really value for money. Hotel requires a bond of $250 which from what I observed they rarely tell guests about in avance. It is refundable on checkout. most guests I observed were unimpressed by the service at the front desk. first hotel I have stayed at where i had to walk past dirty linen to get to my room. the cleaning staff all seemed lovely, but this leads me to think they dont have enough staff.
