Dominating the residential suburb of Western Springs, west of Auckland, is the enchanting Western Springs Park. It plays host to one of Auckland’s most prevalent public events: the Pasifika Festival. A lake with a tremendous variety of birdlife occupies the park, along with Auckland Zoo and Western Springs Stadium.
