Grubby bathroom, noisy, dated rooms and stains on sheets. For $180 dollars per night I expected a lot more. I left very disappointed. I do not recommend a stay at Mercure Willis Street.
Room was good but bathroom really grubby under bench and in grate for vent. Heater noisy and not very efficient,s urprised there was no guest parking unless you paid another $15 per night. Courtesy van not offered to take to bus station on leaving, bit second rate really.
Service from staff was excellent. The entrance into the building is lovely, but the rest of the building seems dated. Rooms are comfortable but not modern. Carparking is minimum but they do provide a valet parking to an overflow parking lot less than 50m away. Excellent views and a reasonably central location. Good place to base yourself if not staying in the room much. But yet again, the staff fall over themselves trying to help, and so friendly!
We were on the 2nd level and roadside which made the room quite a noisy one for outside traffic HOWEVER the service of the staff was FANTASTIC. If we wanted anything they would be on to it with no hesitation and the room service food was really good and a HUGE serving - value for money. Also i left my phone charger at the hotel and their service and help getting it back to me was so great. Thank you Mercure Willis Street.
