One of the big pulls of the Gold Coast is the theme parks. The big three are Dreamworld, Warner Bros. Movie World, and Sea World.
None of them quite compete with Disneyland, but Dreamworld comes closest with its giant koala bears names Kenny and Belinda who roam the compound greeting guests much like Mickey Mouse.
Dreamworld is great place for thrill seekers with such rides as Giant Drop in which riders plunge 39 stories in 5 seconds. Other adrenalin pumpers include the Tower of Terror, the Cyclone roller coaster, and the Wipeout.
