• Rydges Eagle Hawk Resort Canberra

  This was advertised as North Canberra, but is actually in NSW. The bathroom was dirty, mould in the shower, somebody else's cotton buds in bin and this had not been emptied. Very unhappy/

• USELESS HOTEL: INSECTS AND MOULD

  Hotel not recommended for anyone. I don’t know how they got 4* rating. Reception staff is unfriendly and forget to book essential requests like Buffet breakfast for next day. You arrive next day at restaurant to find name is not on breakfast list. Rooms are old and bathrooms have mould. Lots of insect in the property. Flush had leakage. Hotel is 12km away from Canberra and is actually on NSW boundary. Very misleading to advertise this hotel under Canberra.

• Don't bother. Keep your Money!

  What a disapointment! Our unpleasant stay started with a foul odour in the car park which also travelled into the lobby. The problems started in the room with a mouldy bathroom that had broken tiles and a toilet that definately was not clean! The shower head was broken and the bath was dirty. Our walls were paper thin and you could hear every word spoken by the people in the next room. We were attacked by blow flies in the dinning room and the kitchen had run out of our choices even though we were the first customers of the night! Our pillows were so thin we woke with stiff necks and our alarm clock was broken. When we arrived at breakfast, the "Hot" breakfast was cold. We tried to make our concerns known and we were told that it was not the Managers problem and there was nothing he could do about it. I say save your money and try somewhere else!
