Broadbeach Guide

Broadbeach Guide

Located on Australia's famous Gold Coast, Broadbeach is a haven for celebrities and surfers alike. Broadbeach prides itself on being a laid-back, chilled out location. That being said, though, Broadbeach is home to restaurants, cafes, shopping and, of course, beach side accommodation!

As the name implies, the place to be in Broadbeach is at the beach! In fact, the beaches here are some of the most highly-rated in the entire Gold Coast. Expert surfers love Broadbeach's waves, but even if you're just a surfing beginner, you'll still be able to catch a wave. Or, if you simply want to lay out and relax, there is plenty of golden sand where you can do it!

If you're interested in some indoor fun, there are plenty of places to shop. However, Broadbeach is famous for the Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. With more than 300 stores, your credit card can get a great workout here!

If you want to see everything that Broadbeach has to offer, take a ride on the monorail. For just a few dollars, you can ride from the Broadbeach Mall to the Jupiters Casino. Jupiters' is home to bars, restaurants, as well as a lively entertainment scene featuring both local and big name international acts. There's also accommodation, oh, and you can gamble too on both tables and machines.

Broadbeach is home to some awesome food. Two of the most popular restaurants are Yellowfin Restaurant, which offers a variety of seafood in an open-air setting, and upscale steakhouse and wine bar Moo Moo.

Most of the hotels in Broadbeach lie along two streets - the Gold Coast Highway and Old Burleigh Road. Old Burleigh is closer to the water, so if you stay there, you'll be right on the sand. If you stay near the Gold Coast Highway, you'll be closer to all of the city's shopping.
