Room was advertised as std ensuite bathroom, got there & was advised when we got there that we had been upgraded, this was having a bathroom across the landing from our room approx 15 feet away-not what I consider an ensuite. The bedroom barely fitted the bed in it-it was tiny, noise from passersby in the street. All in all, not a good experience.
A nice and friendly atmosphere and relatively carm surroundings. Nice experience.

This man-made lake in the heart of Melbourne offers 5 km of gentle trails, perfect for walking, jogging or cycling. There is a great playground area for little ones, an aquatic centre complete with Olympic-size pool and wave machine, and the racetrack that has hosted the Australian Formula One Grand Prix every March since 1996. The park’s sports complex has a golf range, too.
Once an arcade, this bustling Melbourne market is where local hipsters and vintage-loving visitors go for the best of the best in retro treasures from the past 100 years or so. From antiques and art to clothing and books, the stalls and vendors at Chapel Street have all sorts of cool and unusual wares on offer. The market is open seven days a week, from 10am until 6pm.
Affectionately known among the locals as simply “the G”, the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Yarra Park is one of the world’s great sporting venues. Cricket-obsessed fans flock to the stadium by the tens of thousands (the arena seats nearly 100,000) to watch the matches. You can take a half-hour tour of the complex on non-match days, or spend a couple of hours in the adjacent National Sports Museum.
