Nice stay at a mid-range resort

My husband and I stayed in one of the resort's Orchid rooms for a week. The room was lovely, spacious with a modern air conditioning unit and free wireless internet, as well as a balcony overlooking the pool and bar, a table and chairs in the room and on the balcony and a TV. The housekeeping staff did a great job keeping it clean and tidy for us.

The resort itself was nice enough with good food at the bar & grill and also at the combined Thai/pizza restaurant.

There was a slightly budget feel to the pool area and we found the pool was very deep and so not much good for someone who is not a strong swimmer to play around in. We were also a bit miffed when the resort pushed for us to pay to attend a special event the resort was hosting, only to find that the organisers of the event seated resort guests at the back and made us feel generally unwelcome.

Overall a great stay in a large, clean room.
