Hobart Parliament House, Hobart – Spend Less, Do More

Welcome to Hobart Parliament House

Parliament House originated as the location for Hobart customs operations, due to its close proximity to the water. From 1903-04 the building was used solely for matters of parliament. In and amongst the office accommodation for staff and members, Parliament House contains the Parliamentary Library and the Parliamentary Museum. The building's colonial Georgian architecture was designed by the convict John Lee Archer in 1830.
